POWER UP with developer circles
I worked with Facebook to create the visual identity of their first ever global ad campaign for their Developer Circles program. A initiative connecting developers in cities around the world to share ideas and learn from each other.
We created 3 short animations, lending their aesthetics from the world of gaming, something a lot of developers around the world love and recognise. Each animation was inspired by the familiar gaming world where the characters complete tasks to 'power up'.
The campaign consisted of films in vertical and horizontal formats for desktop and mobile, Facebook carousels, YouTube pre rolls and banners. All the animations were translated into 7 different languages for a global audience.
I was the lead creative on the project, developing the creative concept, the art direction and copywriting, scriptwriting and gave direction to the animation team at The Mill who created the film and stills assets.
